The Firm provides competent service in helping local and foreign clients doing business or planning to invest in the Philippines. The Firm's corporate lawyers are experts in foreign investments laws, and have extensive experience in doing business issues; determining and establishing the appropriate form of business presence (i.e., branches, representative offices, regional headquarters, subsidiaries); structuring investments to comply with ownership and regulatory restrictions and to address tax issues; applying for special registrations to avail of incentives and other benefits from government agencies such as the Board of Investments and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority; and the formation of joint ventures, including the preparation of joint venture agreements, shareholders' agreements, management and technical consultancy agreements, and other similar documents.

  • The Firm has established a niche in infrastructure practice. The Firm has acted as counsel for the developer and concessionaire of the North Luzon Expressway, a major transport infrastructure project and world-class highway spanning 84 kilometers, which provides key access to Metro Manila (the national capital region) and the central and northern regions of the island of Luzon, Philippines. It is also active in other sectors of the infrastructure industry such as water and telecommunications facilities.

  • The Firm has experienced considerable growth in its real estate practice. It has been involved in the structuring of real estate investments, and lists as a client, among others, the leading developer of high-class condominiums, malls and leisure complexes in the Philippines.
