The firm represents foreign air carriers in obtaining regulatory approvals for scheduled passenger flights and ad hoc cargo flights from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) and the Air Transportation Office (ATO), including filings with the said offices and appearances before the CAB.

The firm's aviation experience also includes:

  • representing a foreign air carrier in its negotiations with a Philippine air carrier relating to code-sharing arrangements and commercial cooperation agreement;
  • representing air carriers in litigation relating to passenger claims filed in various courts;
  • representing various companies engaged in aircraft maintenance and ground-handling in matters related to their business operations;
  • representing a domestic airline company in setting up its business and in obtaining regulatory approvals, including negotiating various aircraft lease agreements, aircraft maintenance and ground-handling agreements, and similar contracts; and
  • representing a creditor bank in its due diligence over a purchase of an aircraft and lease of an aircraft.
